What is Cash4Sale.com?

Simply stated, Cash4Sale.com is a service web site designed for people to exchange U.S. Currency that has some significance to them within the serial numbers. People can post, sell, bid, and or buy U.S. Currency Bills of all denominations.

What kind of significance can the Serial Number hold ?

Well, would it be nice to have or to give as a gift to someone a U.S. Bill that has your or their birthday, or some other special date or number within the serial number? It would make a very unique gift. See the Suggestion page for more examples.

Our Goal:

Our goal is to generate a huge database of U.S Currency serial numbers so that most people who visit our site will be able to find and obtain a bill with a significant serial number that represents something personal to them or to someone they may know.

Guidelines for posting, selling, bidding, or buying items at this site:

Registration: When you register at this site, please use a real email address. All communication between you and Cash4sale.com  regarding the status of your account, posting, bids, and buys are done by email. Also, the buyers and sellers must be able to communicate with you. All purchases are performed between you and the seller. Cash4Sale.com does not handle any of the transaction. We will just notify the buyer and seller by email about the status of the item posted on our site.

Posting: At Cash4Sale.com you can post an unlimited number of bills on this site after you have registered. You can post any bill you like even if the serial number does not seem to have any significance to you. It can be significant to a potential buyer. For example, get yourself 10 random one dollar bills and post them on this web site. The serial numbers on the bills could be someone’s Driver License number.

We strongly recommend that you retain the actual currency you posted in a safe place without spending it for the duration of the auction.

The maximum time an item can be posted is for one year, 365 days. If you can hold on to the currency for a year without spending it, we recommend you post it for the longest time possible. This will give you the greatest exposure in selling you currency.

Title / Item Name: When posting a bill , enter ONLY the Serial Number of the Currency you are selling. (For Example: L66488130R). Do not enter anything else within the Title / Item Name field. This is field that is searched when a user searches the web site for a particular number. We have provided a Description field on the posting form in case you may want to supply additional information.

Buy It Now Price: If you are going to post an item, we strongly recommend that you enter a “Buy It Now Price”. This way you do not have to wait the duration of the auction to sell your item.

Setting a price: Please do not get greedy. If for example you are posting a one dollar bill, sell it for $2 or $3 dollars. Unless you have a very special bill with a popular serial number (ie. N09112001Y), please ask for a reasonable amount. Keep in mind, if you sell a one dollar bill for $2 or $3 dollars, you just made 100% - 200% on your money! Where else can you make this type of profit?
